Our factory partners in Portugal have been audited by SEDEX. The SEDEX audit is validated by site visits, interviews with those that work there and policy reviews. SEDEX focuses on labour, health and safety, environmental and business ethics.
Our fabrics and production methods at our factories have been accredited by the Global Recycling Standard (GRS) to verify their recycled content and chain of custody and OEKO-TEX, which is one of the world’s best-known and most widely used labels for textiles reliably tested for harmful substances. This standard also certifies that products are manufactured without harmful substances and are therefore harmless to human health.
Another accreditation that our factories have obtained includes the Higg Environmental and Higg Social Labour which they were awarded in 2020 and 2021. The Facility Social & Labour Module (FSLM) measures overall social labour practices in facilities, tracks management systems, operational controls, oversight, and worker and stakeholder engagement. The Higg Index is a suite of tools for the standardised measurement of value chain sustainability, developed by the Sustainable Apparel Coalition to transform businesses for exponential impact.
